Review: The Laughing Corpse (book 2)

The Laughing Corpse (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter, #2)The Laughing Corpse by Laurell K. Hamilton
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Just a brief, probably biased review:

I’ve been a fan of Laurell K. Hamilton for years now, and I enjoyed the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series enough for this to be my second read through as I collect her books.

The Laughing Corpse, the second book in the series, is a little light on the romance side of things for my tastes, but it has enough action and thrill to make up for it. Anita is a total bad-ass, while maintaining reasonable and believable limits to her capabilities. I love her character and thoroughly enjoyed reading this book – so much, I immediately bought the third and eagerly anticipate it’s arrival.

That’s all for this book. Very brief, as I’m not well.
