The Reading Challenge Addict is for everyone who seems to participate in mass amounts of reading challenges at once.

At one point, I was participating in something like 7 reading challenges with the goal of finishing FIFTY BOOKS in the space of a year. That number to me now is… insane.

How addicted are you?
  • Easy as Pie: 1-5 Challenges (Entered & Completed)
  • On the Roof: 6-10 Challenges (Entered & Completed)
  • In Flight: 11-15 Challenges (Entered & Completed)
  • Out of This World: 16+ Challenges (Entered & Completed)

  1. This challenge begins in January and ends in December
  2. Pick your addiction level and challenges to complete
  3. You have to successfully complete a reading challenge for it to count towards your goal
  4. Books in reading challenges can overlap
  5. Challenges can have similar goals, but must be different from one another in some way (e.g. read 12 YA Debut novels vs read 12 fiction novels)

Let me know in the comments below how insanely addicted YOU are.

  1. I participated in 3 reading challenges this year and failed to complete any of them. On the bright side, I’ve already read more than my goal of reading 52 books in 2017. Tonight I finished combining all my lists of books I want to read. The total was just under 500 books! So many books, so little time! In 2018, I think I’ll just try to whittle away at that huge list and not try to complete any detailed reading challenges.

    1. You’re doing better than me!
I used to read…. gods, 80-100 books a year??? Once I started uni… well i was lucky to read three.
My only goal this year was 1 book per month. I think I’m one book behind, but theoretically will be able to read all 12 before the year is up!
